These terms are the agreement between you and Walid Guemil, France, for your use of the BodyLeveling app and this website. Using the app means you accept them.
BodyLeveling provides educational fitness analysis. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose any condition, and it is not a substitute for advice from a doctor, a physiotherapist or a registered dietitian. Talk to a qualified professional before starting any new training or diet, particularly if you have an injury, a medical condition, an eating disorder, or you are pregnant.
1. Who can use it
You must be 18 or older. The app asks you to confirm this before it collects anything, and there is no way to continue without confirming.
2. Your licence
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use BodyLeveling on devices you own or control, for your own use. You may not resell, sublicense or redistribute it.
3. What you may and may not upload
You may only upload photos of yourself. Uploading a photo of anyone else is a breach of these terms and, depending on where you live, of the law.
You also agree not to:
- attempt to reverse engineer, decompile or interfere with the app or the API;
- scrape the service, or send it automated or abusive volumes of traffic;
- attempt to bypass the subscription check or the scan limits;
- use the service for anything unlawful.
We may suspend or terminate access if you do any of these.
4. What the analysis is worth
Your scores are an AI estimate produced from three photographs. They are affected by lighting, camera angle, posture, clothing and image quality, and they will not always agree with a body composition measurement taken in a lab. Treat them as a consistent way to track change over time, not as a clinical measurement.
Exercise and nutrition recommendations are generated automatically from that estimate and your self-reported profile. They are general guidance. You are responsible for deciding whether they suit you, and for training safely.
5. Subscriptions and payment
Your first scan is free and requires no payment method.
Beyond that, BodyLeveling Pro is an auto-renewing subscription:
- Monthly, 7,99 € per month.
- Annual, 24,99 € per year, which works out at about 2,08 € per month.
Prices include VAT and are charged in euro. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see or handle your payment details.
Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Your Apple Account is charged on renewal. There is no free trial: payment is taken when you subscribe.
To cancel, open iOS Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and cancel BodyLeveling there. You can also use https://apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policy, not by us. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Promotional codes may grant Pro access for a limited period. A code is not a subscription, nothing renews, and there is nothing to cancel.
6. Right of withdrawal
Under French consumer law you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. By subscribing and getting immediate access to the paid features, you ask us to start performing straight away and you acknowledge that you lose that right once the service has been fully supplied. Since Apple processes the payment, any withdrawal or refund request goes through Apple.
7. Availability
We try to keep the service running but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free. We may change, suspend or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give reasonable notice so you can export or delete your data.
8. Your data
How we handle your data is set out in our Privacy Policy. You can delete your account at any time from Profile, which erases your photos and your records from our systems.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under French law.
Subject to that, the service is provided as is, and to the fullest extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost data, or for any injury arising from exercise or dietary choices you make on the basis of the app's guidance. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the current version, and we will tell you in the app if a change materially affects you. Continuing to use BodyLeveling after a change means you accept it.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in the courts there.
Before going to court you may use the free mediation service available to consumers in France, or the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
